Townhome Facelift & Bath Remodel

GOALS

Our clients primary goals were to be able to safely stay in her home for as long as possible, and update the look of the 1990’s home.  In addition, she was seeking more thoughtful storage solutions and surfaces that were easy to clean and maintain.

KITCHEN

The kitchen received a facelift rather than a full remodel.  The existing cabinets were retained after a few minor repairs.  Soft-close door and drawer hardware were added.  New Cambria quartz countertops were installed, along with a new quartz sink and faucet.  The tile backplash looks great.  All of the appliances were replaced, and the bright-red paint was painted over with a soothing green.

MASTER BATHROOM

The master bath received most of our time and effort on this project.  The tub was replaced with a large shower.  The shower features a low-profile “speed-bump” curb for easy entry.  The shower walls are clad with Cambria quartz and white solid-surface materials with no grout to clean!  Grab bars were installed for safety, and a giant shower head feels great.  A shampoo cubby and custom glass finish off the shower space.

The remainder of the bathroom received a new Cambria quartz vanity top with a new sink and faucet.  Additional lighting was added.  Luxury vinyl tile flooring and fresh paint finish off the space.

MASTER BEDROOM & CLOSET

The existing large walk-in closet had plenty of room but wasn’t laid out very thoughtfully.  After a discussion with our client about what items she’d like to store in the closet, our design team came up with a layout that included custom cubbies for her purse and shoe collection, as well as space for different lengths of hanging items and a linen storage area as well.  The closet and bedroom both received fresh paint as well.

LAUNDRY ROOM

The laundry room received new luxury vinyl tile flooring and new appliances.
