FULL HOME REMODEL IN WOODBURY

This complete home remodeling project in Woodbury MN includes a full kitchen remodel with a separate wet bar and butlers pantry.  The cabinetry is all custom.  Most of the cabinets are an off-white enameled finish, with the massive island in maple with an espresso stain finish.  Granite countertops and a subway tile backsplash provide the working surfaces.  The stainless appliance package includes a drawer microwave in the island, as well as a wall oven with doors that open to the side, allowing our client easy access.  Custom LED undercabinet lighting and in-cabinet lighting provide plenty of illumination on the work surfaces and help to show off treasures.

In the family room, we refurbished the existing gas fireplace, and added custom cabinets, a stone surround, and a solid hearthstone.

Carpet was removed in a living room and dining room, and these rooms received new hardwood flooring, which was seamlessly integrated into the existing adjacent hardwood flooring.  The new and existing floors were completely refinished throughout the entire home.

In addition to new and upgraded lighting, the entire home received freshly painted ceilings, walls, and trim.

Upstairs, three smaller closets were torn down and converted into one large master closet, with a built-in washer and dryer for convenience.  A custom closet system makes great use of the storage space.

FULL HOME REMODEL IN INVER GROVE

This project touched every room of the home:  full kitchen and bathroom remodels, as well as new doors, trim, and flooring throughout.  In addition, the popcorn ceiling texture was removed and new knockdown texture was applied, followed by fresh paint on all of the walls and ceilings.

This Inver Grove Heights kitchen still had all of it’s original 1978 parts.  A full gut and remodel included plumbing and electrical upgrades.  The soffit was removed to allow full-height cabinetry and maximize the storage space.  Oak cabinets and Cambria countertops look great and will hold up for many years.

The bathroom tub/shower features two recessed niches and two corner shelves for storage, porcelain tile with a stone and copper inlay, and a deep soaking tub for a relaxing soak after a hard day.  A custom oak vanity provides plenty of storage and is topped with Cambria quartz.  The heated tile floor feels great on a cold winter day.  Custom touches include “floating” wood shelves and a custom robe hook rack.

In the living room, we replaced the sooty wood fireplace with a clean gas fireplace, custom cabinetry, stone surround, and marble tile hearth.  A custom mission-style guardrail surrounds the stairway to the basement.

The entire home received numerous lighting upgrades, including custom lighting in the glass-front cabinets, undercabinet lighting in the kitchen, and recessed lighting with dimmer switches.

FULL HOME REMODEL IN COTTAGE GROVE

This 1950’s rambler hadn’t received much updating since it had been built.  The project includes a full kitchen, master bath remodel, and a completely finished basement.  In addition, the leaky old galvanized plumbing system was replaced with modern PVC and PEX piping.

MULTI-FINISH KITCHEN

Built in the 1950’s, this kitchen suffered from a lack of counter space, a lack of storage space, and some scary electrical and plumbing problems.  After fully gutting the room to the studs, the mechanicals were upgraded, the walls were re-insulated, drywalled and painted.  Custom cherry cabinets, Cambria quartz countertops, and stainless appliances provided the finishing touches.

Our design team did a great job of making the most of a very small galley kitchen space.   This kitchen incorporates numerous colors and textures to appeal to every sense:  Cherry, copper, stainless, bronze, dark gray backsplash tile, and dark brown LVT flooring.

MASTER BATHROOM

The bathroom also suffered from some electrical and plumbing deficiencies, including a rotten floor near the toilet.  After many “behind the wall” upgrades, the space was finished off with LVT floor tile, custom cherry cabinetry, Cambria quartz countertops, and fixtures from Delta and Kohler.

BASEMENT

Our clients goals for the basement were:  provide additional storage, upgrade the laundry service, add a ¾ bathroom, and provide a generous multi-purpose area, which could be used for family space or an office setup.  The space was dark and gloomy, so our plan included new egress windows and plenty of recessed lighting.  One side of the basement is “utility” with plenty of closets for storage.  The other side features the large multi-purpose space.  In addition, a combination laundry/bathroom consolidates these areas to free up space for other uses.
