POWDER ROOM REMODELING WITH POLISH

Since this bathroom is the primary one that is used by guests, our Mendota Heights clients wished to transform this powder room into a more comfortable and luxurious space.  The seizure-inducing chessboard tile was replaced with polished marble.  A comfort-height toilet is more comfortable for guests of all sizes.  The maple cabinetry with espresso finish provides storage for extra tissue and other items.  Also included in this project is a Cambria Quartz countertop, which is topped with a Kohler sink and Delta faucet.

TESTIMONIAL

“We hired Allrounder Remodeling to remodel 3 bathrooms in our new home before we moved in. We were on a very tight timeframe and they did everything in their power to get the project done on time and on budget. From the initial consultation to the final walk-thru they were nothing but professional. I loved the fact that they would give me regular email updates on the progress they had made on any given day and what we could expect to see in the upcoming days. I trusted them completely in our home when we were not there. We could not be more pleased with the work they did. We would hire them again in a second. “

KIDS BATHROOM REMODEL in MENDOTA HEIGHTS

Believe it or not, the blue fixtures in this Mendota Heights bathroom were an upgrade at the time that it was originally built.  Our renovation included porcelain tile that mimics the look of honed concrete, maple cabinetry with an espresso finish, Cambria countertop, and fixtures by Kohler and Delta.  Since it’s primary use is by children, our client opted for an easy to clean acrylic tub & shower surround instead of tile.

FULL HOME REMODEL IN INVER GROVE

This project touched every room of the home:  full kitchen and bathroom remodels, as well as new doors, trim, and flooring throughout.  In addition, the popcorn ceiling texture was removed and new knockdown texture was applied, followed by fresh paint on all of the walls and ceilings.

This Inver Grove Heights kitchen still had all of it’s original 1978 parts.  A full gut and remodel included plumbing and electrical upgrades.  The soffit was removed to allow full-height cabinetry and maximize the storage space.  Oak cabinets and Cambria countertops look great and will hold up for many years.

The bathroom tub/shower features two recessed niches and two corner shelves for storage, porcelain tile with a stone and copper inlay, and a deep soaking tub for a relaxing soak after a hard day.  A custom oak vanity provides plenty of storage and is topped with Cambria quartz.  The heated tile floor feels great on a cold winter day.  Custom touches include “floating” wood shelves and a custom robe hook rack.

In the living room, we replaced the sooty wood fireplace with a clean gas fireplace, custom cabinetry, stone surround, and marble tile hearth.  A custom mission-style guardrail surrounds the stairway to the basement.

The entire home received numerous lighting upgrades, including custom lighting in the glass-front cabinets, undercabinet lighting in the kitchen, and recessed lighting with dimmer switches.

GUEST BATHROOM RETREAT in EAGAN

After completing their main floor bathroom remodel, our Eagan clients immediately had us begin work on their guest bathroom.  This space had been built by a previous homeowner, and it showed!  Upon demolition, our team discovered numerous plumbing and electrical code violations that needed to be addressed.  In addition, walls were out of plumb and needed to be extensively shimmed in order for the shower wall tile to lay flat.

In the end, our efforts resulted in a beautiful guest bathroom.  Highlights include a spacious tiled shower, furniture-style vanity, a sleek toilet that is easy to clean, and new solid pine doors.

TESTIMONIAL

“I’m a product of the HGTV generation. I wanted the Property Brothers to come to my house. Eric was the next best thing. We spent about an hour going through all of our needs and wants. He took measurements. Within a few days he provided us with the most organized quote I’ve ever seen. Everything was broken down into sections; plumbing, electrical, tile, etc. Allowances for materials were clearly visible. This made it very easy to stay within budget. My husband and I were adamant that we would pick materials under the allowance as to save money. Eric’s methodology made this possible. Once we agreed to hire him, we were provided with a very detailed timeline. Eric and Ruth took us shopping for materials. A revised quote was provided to us right before work was started based on our actual purchases. Once work started things went very smoothly. Everyday the work site was cleaned up so that we could actually still live in our house comfortably. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome.”

GREY CLASSIC BATHROOM REMODEL

This oddly shaped bathroom in Rosemount MN presented our design team with a few challenges.  First up was a skinny closet that is so deep, you couldn’t reach the back of it.  Our solution was to add some pullout drawers to allow access to everything inside.  The leaking shower was replaced with tile and a custom glass door.  The vanity is furniture-style and topped with Cambria quartz.

Again, this was a very detailed, organized process. We received a CR (change request) that detailed the new items. Due to adding on the new job, our overall project was extended by a few weeks, but we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. We’re actually wrapping up the entire project this week and have already started the quote process for our next major project: the downstairs bathroom and family room.”

Twin Cities bathtub installations

TWIN CITIES BATHROOM FEATURING FREE STANDING TUB

Our Twin Cities clients’ goals for the project were to eliminate the awful pink whirlpool tub and replace it with a free-standing soaker tub.  In addition, they wished for a larger vanity to increase storage and counter space.  In a perfect world, we would have relocated walls to create more space, but unfortunately we were “land locked” between two exterior walls and a large fireplace.  Our design team were forced to design within the space that we had, and they did a great job.

The end result is quite stunning, with a maple cabinet with whitewashed finish, Cambria countertops, and gorgeous tile surrounding the spacious soaker tub.  The shower features porcelain tile and a custom glass enclosure.

Design Build Remodel custom renovations

FULL HOME REMODEL IN COTTAGE GROVE

This 1950’s rambler hadn’t received much updating since it had been built.  The project includes a full kitchen, master bath remodel, and a completely finished basement.  In addition, the leaky old galvanized plumbing system was replaced with modern PVC and PEX piping.

MULTI-FINISH KITCHEN

Built in the 1950’s, this kitchen suffered from a lack of counter space, a lack of storage space, and some scary electrical and plumbing problems.  After fully gutting the room to the studs, the mechanicals were upgraded, the walls were re-insulated, drywalled and painted.  Custom cherry cabinets, Cambria quartz countertops, and stainless appliances provided the finishing touches.

Our design team did a great job of making the most of a very small galley kitchen space.   This kitchen incorporates numerous colors and textures to appeal to every sense:  Cherry, copper, stainless, bronze, dark gray backsplash tile, and dark brown LVT flooring.

MASTER BATHROOM

The bathroom also suffered from some electrical and plumbing deficiencies, including a rotten floor near the toilet.  After many “behind the wall” upgrades, the space was finished off with LVT floor tile, custom cherry cabinetry, Cambria quartz countertops, and fixtures from Delta and Kohler.

BASEMENT

Our clients goals for the basement were:  provide additional storage, upgrade the laundry service, add a ¾ bathroom, and provide a generous multi-purpose area, which could be used for family space or an office setup.  The space was dark and gloomy, so our plan included new egress windows and plenty of recessed lighting.  One side of the basement is “utility” with plenty of closets for storage.  The other side features the large multi-purpose space.  In addition, a combination laundry/bathroom consolidates these areas to free up space for other uses.

BARRIER-FREE CONVENIENCE

Our clients goal was to be able to age in place within her existing Inver Grove Heights home.  The existing builders tub/shower unit made it difficult and unsafe to step into the tub.  In addition, the inexpensive builders vanity cabinet was falling apart, and there was very little storage space in the bathroom.

A curbless tile shower is the highlight of this Inver Grove Heights bathroom renovation.  The curbless design allows our client to walk right into the shower.  The shower also features a bench seat, a handshower on a slide bar, and numerous grab bars for a safe and comfortable shower.  New custom cabinetry, Cambria quartz countertops, and fixtures by Delta and Kohler were all included as part of this project.

Although not the goal for this project, this design would work great for somebody who is handicapped or wheelchair bound.

TESTIMONIAL

“I did a total bath redo. Allrounder did a great job. Eric and everyone that work with him were very professional. The project turned out better than I ever expected. I will use Allrounder for my next project”
